I normally don't write reviews but for this book, i'll make an exception. Paid $15 for a book written much like a first grader would write. The print is small and hard to read, I might add..The pictures are boring and CLIPART!!! Isn't that illegal?? Definitely not a book for vegans Tommy Tofu blows the poor bees from their home.. Also the author decided to give the characters faces, names and personalities only to later inform the children on how to eat them.. Yikes!! The best part of all you ask?? You'll be comforted to know the book is given a positive review by Rory Freedman.. You know, the author of Skinny Bitch?? That's right! This book for CHILDREN says bitch on the back.. Absolutely charming book about a group of vegetables who are saved by Tommy Tofu. It will delight children up to the age of 8 and even older, whether it is read to them or they read it themselves. The book briefs the reader on each vegetable mentioned in the storyline and the health/nutritional benefits offered by eating them.
