Conclave A Journal of Character - Review *****
It is not often that literary art takes a reader deep into the psyche of characters. In "Conclave A Journal of Character," the reader may not travel far and wide in physical space but is pulled into the vast inner universe of characters portrayed in interviews, fiction, flash fiction, creative nonfiction, poems, essays, and images.
Whether the character overcomes stuttering, is a woman's lifetime struggle with her mother's relationship, is a slightly retarded teen, or a married couple's infidelity, the reader senses and perceives the world through the character's stream-of-consciousness.
For the lover of literary depth, fiction or nonfiction, "Conclave A Journal of Character" is a book to read.

This issue is cock-full of great fiction and poetry. It is one you will not want to put out with the recycling.
I love the Conclave journals.
love to be able to sit down and read short stories, poetry, flash fiction, about true "characters." carrying this journal with me is like carrying a whole new group of interesting people along.
I think this is the finest literary journal still in print. Treat yourself. Remind yourself what good writing really is.
excellent compilation of writers/writings
I love reading journals and that is why I acquired this journal as soon as I saw it in format. Great is the convenience of carrying around journals on one's or Tab devices.
As I started reading the journal, I was stuck by two things the very pleasant layout (which is not always easy in this format which has very few formatting options) and the careful selection of materials for publication. There are plenty of poems, stories, and some articles.
I read only a few of the poems as that is not a genre that catches my attention. However, I read all the stories and enjoyed each one of them enormously. As a whole the time I spent reading this journal was extremely profitable.
It is great that this journal is available in format, and I recommend it highly to all those who love literary works.
