Disappointing. I found myself wishing for it to be over so I could read another book. Then it abruptly ended. Not good just not good
I am sad that the Amish people so hate or distrust us other Christians in what they call the outside world. We trust in the Lord and we pray just as strongly. We love everyone and try to help others, just because we don't stay locked in a small community means we are bad. We work hard in our jobs especially our Doctors. Christians all over the world give to those who have lived through disasters. Do the Amish help give for victims of floods, earthquakes send other things.
I've read a lot of Amish books but this is the first one I've read to make me question the love for all God's people. I don't know any Amish to ask them these questions. Why can't an Amish man be a trained Doctor to help his patients Amish or English or any other ethnic group?
I enjoyed the story line , with relatable characters. If you enjoy Amish stories this one will keep your interest .
